Bespoke Boot Rooms
A Warm Welcome Home
The hallway is the first thing you see when you walk through the door, but it often becomes a dumping ground for coats and shoes. A bespoke boot room transforms this chaotic space into an organised, welcoming entrance. We design robust furniture that bridges the gap between the muddy outdoors and your clean home, ensuring everything has its place.
ROBUST. WELCOMING. PRACTICAL.
Designed for Real Life
A boot room needs to be durable. We build our units to withstand wet coats, muddy wellies, and heavy school bags. The centrepiece is usually bespoke bench seating, which provides a comfortable place to sit while putting on shoes.
Beneath the bench, we can create open pigeonholes for boots or lift-up lids for hidden storage. Above, we install high-level shelving for hats and robust coat racks. By utilizing the full height of the room, we can double the storage capacity of your hallway without encroaching on the floor space.
Style Meets Function
Just because a room is functional doesn’t mean it has to look industrial. We bring the same level of joinery detail to your boot room as we do to your kitchen.
We can incorporate tongue-and-groove panelling behind the coat hooks to protect your walls and add character. We use scrubbable, high-quality paints that can handle the traffic of family life. Whether you want a rustic farmhouse feel with solid oak seating or a sleek, painted finish to match your interior doors, we create a space that feels like furniture, not just storage.

Frequently Asked Questions About Farmhouse Kitchens
Do you supply the cushions for the bench?
We build the bespoke wooden bench seating to any size or shape. While we don’t supply the fabric cushions ourselves, we design the bench with a “lip” or recess so that any cushion you have made sits perfectly in place without sliding off.
Is the paint durable enough for a boot room?
Yes. We use specialist furniture paint that is designed to be hard-wearing and wipeable. However, for high-impact areas (like the bench seat itself), we often recommend solid oak, which handles scratches and wear beautifully as it ages.
Can you fit a boot room in a narrow hallway?
Yes. Because our furniture is bespoke, we can make the units shallower than standard wardrobes to ensure they don’t block the walkway. We can use angled hooks and slimline benches to maximize storage in tight spaces.
