Bespoke Utility Rooms
The Hardest Working Room
Laundry and cleaning are a fact of life, but the environment you do them in makes all the difference. We believe the utility room should be given just as much design attention as the kitchen. We transform these functional spaces into efficient, organised rooms that make household chores easier and more enjoyable.
EFFICIENT. SEAMLESS. DURABLE.
Elevated Ergonomics
Bending down to load washing machines and dryers is a thing of the past. A popular feature in our bespoke utility rooms is raised appliance housing. We build reinforced cabinets that lift your machines to waist height, making loading and unloading effortless.
This design also creates valuable storage space underneath for laundry baskets. We combine this with tall broom cupboards to house ironing boards, mops, and vacuum cleaners, ensuring that nothing is left out on display.
The Hidden Utility
For the ultimate in seamless design, we can create a “Hidden Utility.” In many open-plan homes, a standard internal door can ruin the flow of a run of kitchen units.
We can design a walkthrough entrance disguised as a tall kitchen cabinet. From the outside, it looks exactly like a standard larder or fridge housing, perfectly matching your kitchen. But when opened, it reveals a walkway into your separate utility room. It is the perfect magic trick: keeping the beautiful lines of your kitchen intact while completely hiding the noise and mess of the laundry room.

Frequently Asked Questions About Utility Rooms
Can you hide the washing machine?
Yes. If you prefer a streamlined look, we can integrate your washing machine and tumble dryer behind cabinet doors so they are completely hidden from view. This helps reduce noise and keeps the room looking tidy.
Do you install sinks and taps?
Yes. We can supply and fit a wide range of sinks suitable for utility use, including deep Belfast sinks which are perfect for soaking clothes or cleaning muddy sports kit.
Can you build around a boiler?
Yes. Utility rooms often house the boiler, which can be an eyesore. We can build a vented bespoke cabinet around the boiler to hide it while ensuring it remains accessible for servicing and meets safety regulations for airflow.
